Winning the Midwest

out has Obama ahead in:
Colorado Obama (D) 49%, McCain (R) 44%
Michigan Obama (D) 48%, McCain (R) 42%
Minnesota Obama (D) 54%, McCain (R) 37%
WisconsinObama (D) 52%, McCain (R) 39%
It turns out that nominating a candidate from the midwest does, as you might expect, increase the Democrats appeal in the region.
